What is in a Typical Cat Sitting Visit
A typical visit includes:
Feeding, scooping litter box, playtime, brushing coat, fresh water, give any medications, bringing in mail and packages.
What else do I do?
I clean the cat's dishes after each meal, sweep around the litter box, water any plants, fill outdoor bird feeders, clean up hairballs and accidents.
I give daily updates with photos and videos
The initial consultation is free, follow up or second consultations are $20
There are no cancellation fees and no surcharges or extra fees for holidays
What To expect and how to prepare for your pet sitting
meet and greet
First thing I do is set up a meet and greet with the cat parent. This can be done in person or by Zoom/Facetime. During the meet and greet we go over your kitties care plan. You show me where all kitties supplies are and we go over kitties routine. The more information about your kitty the better. You can not give enough or too much information.
Be Prepared
*Have enough cat food, treats and litter for the duration of your reservation.
*Have cleaning supplies at the ready.
*Have a credit card on file with your vet. Have proof of rabies vaccine.
*Have an extra key for entry, either hidden, with a neighbor or relative.
*Have an emergency contact.
Daily Updates
I give daily updates, either by text, WhatsApp or phone call
Payment
Payment can be made by cash (upfront), Venmo, Paypal, Apple Pay, Zelle or CashApp. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
As of January 1, 2024 I will no longer be accepting checks. Please use Zelle, Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal or CashApp. Cash is also accepted.
Key Pickup and Drop off
If you need a separate key pick up from the initial consultation there is a $20 fee. I encourage clients to get lock boxes for easy key exchanges.
